Did you really find Invisible Man wack? I'm kind of enjoying it -- the storytelling is incredible; reads with the power of a first novel. What did you think of it (this won't sway/discourage me, so let loose)?
It was very interesting, but it just gets a bit over the top. In general, I have problems dealing with stories (especially movies) where the people have no home, no money, no identity. (Boys Don't Cry is a good example of this.) Invisible Man is excellent, but too hard for me personally to read. Perhaps my "wack" was a bit underdescriptive. Hope that helps.
