I've heard of this contest, and, as a failed author, am in no position to criticize. Although, 175 pages ain't nothin'. W/the trimmings, "Failed Manuscript No. 1" was easily 900 pages; only 243 of which were shipped out. 175 pages is like a short story. Go for it...
